UKWAZI SCHOOL OF NURSING

UKWAZI SCHOOL OF NURSING PTY LTD is a private HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION registered as such by the DEPARTMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND TRAINING.  Its nursing qualifications are registered by the SOUTH AFRICAN QUALIFICATIONS AUTHORITY.  It is accredited  by the COUNCIL ON HIGHER EDUCATION and by the SOUTH AFRICAN NURSING COUNCIL.

Its Main Campus is in Roodepoort, Gauteng, South Africa and there is also a Sub-Campus in Potchefstroom, North West Province, South Africa.

NURSING QUALIFICATIONS

UKWAZI SCHOOL OF NURSING offers the Higher Certificate in Nursing (R169)(auxiliary nurse programme) and the Diploma in Nursing (general nurse programme)(R171).  Intakes for both qualifications are invariably fully enrolled annually.

NON-NURSING QUALIFICATIONS

We also offer a PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT COURSE which is accredited by the QUALITY COUNCIL FOR TRADES AND OCCUPATIONS (QCTO).  It is an introductory course in health care and stands all prospective nursing learners in good stead in terms of the acquisition of knowledge and skills, in finding employment as a caregiver in hospitals, clinics, frail care centres / old age homes, private homes etc and in the selection process for nursing.   Contact our campuses for more details.

INTAKES FOR 2027

Applications for 2027 for the HIGHER CERTIFICATE IN NURSING (R169) and the DIPLOMA IN NURSING (R171) are now open and will CLOSE ON 30 JUNE 2026 hereafter all applicants meeting our admission criteria will be entered into a selection process.
